Rosemarie Padovano is a sculptor, photographer, video and performance artist currently living and working in New York. She received her Masters of Fine Art in Sculpture from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2007 and her BFA, in Fine Arts from Parsons School of Design in 2004. She also attended the Pont-Aven School of Art in Brittany, France. She has exhibited extensively in New York City including shows at Moti Hasson Gallery, Exit Art, Ramis Barquet, Gallery, White Box, The Alliance Francaise, Parsons School of Design and New School University. In addition she has had numerous shows throughout the United States and abroad. She has received honors and grants including a grant from Parsons School of Design, as well as a fellowship from Virginia Commonwealth University’s Sculpture Department. She was recently been awarded a residency and grant from the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council in 2009 and attended Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture this past summer.
