SKOTE is based in New York and primarily works in performance, video, photography and installation. SKOTE and has performed, shown and screened in public spaces, nightclubs and galleries since 2006. Their projects have been featured at Okay Mountain (Austin), Regina Rex (Brooklyn), and Bodega (Philadephia). In 2009, SKOTE was included in the Texas Biennial. In 2010, SKOTE debuted their newest project Nightbird at Night Gallery in Los Angeles and attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture Residency. SKOTE is currently working on a video installation and performance for Participant Inc (NYC) scheduled to debut in early 2012.
