Santiago Forero is a Colombian artist that has been working in Photography, Video and New Media for the past ten years. He attended Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá where he got his B.F.A in Visual Arts in 2005. He moved to Austin, Texas where he received his M.F.A. in Studio Art with a concentration in Photography in 2010. During the summer of 2010 he attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. He has showed his work at Austin Museum of Art and the Station Museum of Contemporary Art in Houston. In 2010 he received the Artist of the Year in Photography Award by the Austin Visual Arts Association. Additionally he has worked as a Lecturer at The University of Texas at Austin where he teaches Digital Foundations in the Art Department.
